Letter to Editor: Clea of Nashville, TN

Clea of Nashville, TN writes:

I am a woman, a mother, a business owner, and now a Tennessean. I’ve never written a letter to a newspaper before, but my outrage over the repeal of the ACA (Obamacare) without a replacement, has reached new heights. If a smart option for a replacement existed, that would be different – but to just repeal it is nonsensical. If your bed isn’t comfortable, you don’t throw it out and sleep on the floor while you contemplate buying a new bed.

My daughter has epilepsy, my brother has type 1 diabetes, and I will not ever sleep soundly until I know for certain they will receive affordable care that will never be taken away. This is a very personal situation for me, and I hope our elected officials in Tennessee take it just as seriously as I do.
