I lived in Knoxville for over 30 years, I lost my husband 6 years ago and have not been able to afford healthcare since he passed away. The ACA has helped me afford insurance.
I am 60 years old and a single female. If I did not have ACA I would be at risk to lose my savings and my home. Making drugs more affordable is very important.
ACA is an important step to making insurance affordable. I truly am hopeful that we have single payer…I believe healthcare is a right.
