The United States House approved a coronavirus aid bill backed by President Donald Trump that will provide widespread free testing and paid medical leave for Americans impacted by the pandemic.

The House voted 363-40 on the aid package around 1 a.m. before leaving Washington for a weeklong recess. The Senate will be in session next week to take up the legislation.

Earlier President Donald Trump said he supported the legislation proposed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

"I fully support H.R. 6201: Families First CoronaVirus Response Act, which will be voted on in the House this evening," Trump tweeted. "I encourage all Republicans and Democrats to come together and VOTE YES!"

BUT SENATOR MITCH MCCONNELL IS ALREADY SAYiNG THE BILL "Goes too far" and Trump is already waffling on whether he will support the final legislation.
