New Poll: 71% of Tennessee Voters Say that Health Care is a Top Issue

(Nashville, Tennessee) – Public Policy Polling put out a new survey today breaking down just how important health care is to Tennesseans ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.

The survey found that 71% of Tennessee voters consider health care a top voting issue – with 31% saying that health care is the most important issue and 40% saying that it is a very important issue.

A majority – about 49% – of voters supported fixing the Affordable Care Act.

Candidates that support the Affordable Care Act trumped candidates that did not. Approximately 46% of Tennessee voters would vote for Democrat Phil Bredesen, while 41% would support Republican Marsha Blackburn in the U.S. Senate race.
