I’ve lived in Soddy Daisy (just outside of Chattanooga) for five years, building my editing and self-publishing support business. As a small business owner, access to affordable healthcare is particularly important to me.
I have always felt that affordable healthcare is a universal human right. The ACA is not perfect, but it is a step in the right direction, and to eliminate it is to condemn a lot of people to death. Up to 50 million people could lose their insurance! No human being with an ounce of compassion can think that is okay.
Obamacare is making health care work better for all of us, even if you already have insurance. It puts the health of your family first—ensuring access to free preventive care and protecting consumers from insurance company abuses. ObamaCare gives families the security they deserve. It holds insurance companies accountable, keeps health care costs in check, gives Americans more freedom and control in their health care choices, and improves the quality of care.
